Imani Shanté, born and raised in sunny south Florida made a bold move to New York City where thereafter, her life would be forever changed. Her fiery passion for creating and hunger for reinvention birthed a modeling career and a newfound love for visual arts.

Through her creativity, natural allure, and growing social media presence, Imani has been granted the opportunity of working with indie and established beauty and fashion companies such as Milk Makeup, ButterMeUpGoods, iNN Beauty Project, and Nike.  As a first generation Jamaican-American, Imani sticks to her roots and refuses to stray from her culture or dilute herself in order to conform to outdated industry standards.

Working as an independent model and content creator, Imani has learned first-hand the rewards that come with discipline and ultimately remembering to have fun during the process. Creation knows no bounds as Imani brings her ideas to fruition through self portraiture as a marriage of her passion for beauty, modeling, photography and creative direction. Imani’s adoration and reverence for art throughout all mediums keeps her creatively stimulated, inspired to dream bigger, and water her goals to fruition.
